Maybe some of you haven't known it before but James had applied for the rival show on the BBC.
He failed to make it to past the unaired producer
auditions, only making it through to the final 200 applicants. So he didn't even saw the show coaches Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones and Will.I.Am.
The Script frontman Danny laughed: “I’ve never heard of him. He didn’t make it through. 30,000
people audition and then they get whittled down to what gets presented
to us, so he obviously didn’t make it through to that part”
And coach will.I.Am added: “Who’s James Arthur?”
Well, I think they have had definitely bad luck. Even though it was probably not Will.I.Am's or the other coache's blame that they had never heard of James, I find it a shame that they laughed at him and humiliated him with the words: "Who's James Arthur?"
But in the end it's their bad luck that he didn't won in their show... James is so talented, they would have certainly earned a lot of money with him....
So I think before they humble James, they should think of their own show and definitely about how the candidates, who then are allowed to finally sing in front of the real jury, are selected. Because, as we could see in James' case, something can't go right there.
James Arthur is really well known and you guys missed your chance to make him famous with YOUR show... But actually it's always like this, The X Factor will always be better than The Voice, you should already be used to it :)
